Photography Tip – How to shoot into the sun

Here’s a short video tutorial where I show you the techniques I use to photograph stunning sunsets with the sun in the frame. Usually you’d get lense flares in such a situation but with a little trick and some basic blending in Photoshop you can easily avoid it and acquire a clean result.

The photo I’m working on in the vdeo was taken in Heidelberg. It shows the view from the castle grounds down over the historic old town. The whole year around this is an ideal position for photographing sunsets.
