Remnant

The last evening on the Seychelles. Anse Volbert were I took this photo of me is a beautiful beach lined by many palm trees. During day the beach is frequented by many people but in the evening only few remain to witness the display of light during sunset.

Dream beaches as far as the eye can see, turquoise water and lush vegetation are what make the Seychelles so special for me. There is hardly any other place where vacation and relaxation can be combined so well with photography as here. Especially on La Digue, the smallest of the three main islands, the photo subjects are almost always within walking distance. For me, there is nothing better than visiting one of the numerous beaches at sunrise and listening to the sea while the sun slowly rises over the horizon and bathes the coast in a warm light.
