Formentor Lighthouse is located atop the rugged cliffs of Mallorca’s northern coast. Surrounded by breathtaking land and seascapes, this iconic landmark offers visitors a magnificent view along the Cap Formentor peninsula.
But even more spectacular is the view toward the lighthouse itself. Climbing up narrow trails to the top of the cliffs close by, you can get a beautiful view of the lighthouse with the endless sea behind.
Finding the perfect vantage point for a photo, though, requires time. For one hour, I scrambled across the rocks until I found the composition in this photographic print. Just in time for two cars to drive toward the lighthouse, I found my spot and took the photo. The light rails captured in the long exposure are the icing on the cake.
