On the western coast of the Greek island of Lefkada, the Lefkada Lighthouse stands as a luminous sentinel, guiding sailors with its nocturnal glow.
As the sun sets and the sky transforms into a canvas of dark blue hues, the Lefkada Lighthouse comes to life. Its beacon emerges, illuminating the surrounding landscape. The rhythmic flashes of light dance along the cliffs while the stars twinkle above.
I was fortunate to have clear skies on the last morning of my visit to this beautiful island. Long before sunrise, I drove up along the peninsula at which end the lighthouse is situated. Being the only person at the viewpoint, I enjoyed a calm morning photographing the Milky Way over the sea, with the lighthouse seemingly lighting up the stars.
